The NDD Glossary is a publicly accessible educational resource. We collect minimal personal information.

Automatically collected data: When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics service (Vercel Analytics) may collect anonymized usage data including page views, browser type, and approximate geographic region. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

Voluntarily provided data: If you contact us via email (e.g., to report an error or provide feedback), we collect your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

02How We Use Information

Anonymized analytics data is used exclusively to understand content usage patterns, identify popular terms, and prioritize editorial improvements. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond improving the knowledge base.

Contact information provided via email is used only to respond to your message. We do not add you to any mailing list, marketing campaign, or third-party database.

03Cookies and Tracking

The NDD Glossary uses Vercel Analytics, which is a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics solution. No tracking cookies are placed on your device.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not serve advertisements.

04Third-Party Services

Vercel (hosting): Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data collection. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Google Fonts: We use Google Fonts (Fraunces, Inter Tight, Azeret Mono) which are loaded from Google's CDN. Google's privacy policy applies to font delivery. See fonts.google.com/about.

We do not integrate with social media platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers.

05Data Retention

Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Email correspondence related to corrections or feedback is retained for the duration necessary to resolve the inquiry and maintain our changelog records, then archived or deleted.

06Your Rights

You have the right to: access any personal data we hold about you, request deletion of your data, request correction of inaccurate data, and withdraw consent for data processing.

07Children's Privacy

The NDD Glossary is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Substantive changes will be noted in the changelog.
